How Insulated Stainless Steel Thermos Bottles Are Manufactured?

The foundation of a durable, high-performance insulated thermos bottle lies in raw material selection. At Jarrino, we strictly enforce international food-safety compliance (FDA, LFGB, REACH, RoHS) to support global brand distribution.

• Step 1: Stainless Steel Pipe Cutting & Forming
Raw 304/316 stainless steel pipes are cut into calculated cylinder lengths. Hydraulic bulging and stretch-forming processes shape the body contour, necking, and base indentation.

  • Step 2: Dual-Wall Inner & Outer Assembly & Welding
The smaller inner liner is nested precisely inside the larger outer shell. The top mouth and bottom joints are joined using automated TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) or laser welding to create a sealed chamber.

• Step 3: Vacuum Evacuation & Copper Plating
Air is extracted from the sealed inter-wall gap inside a high-temperature vacuum furnace (reaching over 500°C) until an ultra-high vacuum state (<10⁻³ Pa) is achieved. A microscopic layer of copper is electroplated onto the outer surface of the inner wall to minimize thermal radiation.

 • Step 4: Temperature Retention & Leak Testing
Every batch undergoes rigorous thermal testing. Infrared sensors monitor heat loss after injecting high-temperature water/steam. Sub-standard insulated bottles are automatically purged.

Step 5: Surface Finishing & Custom Branding
Bottles undergo surface treatment such as matte powder coating, UV gradient painting, or rubberized soft-touch finishes. Branding is applied via precision laser engraving, silk-screen printing, or 3D digital printing.

  • Material Safety: 100% BPA-free, phthalate-free, non-toxic food grade materials compliant with FDA and LFGB standards.
  • Structural Integrity: Drop-testing from 1.5 meters, lid thread torque testing, and seal durability testing over 10,000 open/close cycles.
  • Thermal Performance: Guaranteed retention keeping liquids hot (>60°C) for up to 12 hours and cold (<8°C) for up to 24 hours.
